Several centers and companies are working on the development of a pioneering system for automating work in factories. This is the national project'IMOP. Advanced Model for the Automatic Allocation of Labor to Manufactured Product', which is coordinated by the Packaging and Packaging Innovation Cluster. It has the participation of companies TST, MESBook, CLR and Lersi Graphics, and the collaboration of Valle del Juguete Innovative Companies Cluster (CEIV).

The project is part of the 2022 line of grants aimed at Innovative Business Groups (AEI) of the General Directorate of Industry and Small and Medium Enterprises, and will promote economic development and the digital transformation of companies.

Specifically, the solution focuses on the design of a system for locating personnel in the factory, with automatic attribution of hours to the manufacturing order, through the combination of 4.0 technologies. This new proposal will turn data into information and knowledge, connecting productivity, real costs, quality, traceability and human resources.

A pioneering solution 

The fact is that currently there is no system that uses wireless technologies for this purpose in factories. The current methodology is through disjointed processes, which means that the numbers often don't add up, with the consequences that this entails for companies.

The result will be an innovative solution for indoor location, with the development of a tool capable of learning and correcting the subject's location.

Finally, this project is co-financed by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism (MINCOTUR) through the second call for AEI in 2022 within the framework of the Next Generation grants and the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
