After the recent edition of Advanced Factories, we spoke with Roberto Rubio, Commercial Director of CLR (Compañía Levantina de Reductores S.L.), to learn his impressions of the event and the role of CLR in the sector.

1. What is your balance sheet for CLR's participation in Advanced Factories? 

Overall, it has been a very powerful edition, both in terms of assistance and in terms of technology; and for CLR it has been very positive, exceeding expectations in terms of contacts and opportunities. We present new developments and reaffirm our commitment as expert manufacturers.

These types of fairs reinforce brand visibility and also our position as a trusted industrial partner. Having exceeded our expectations in such a competitive environment is a sign that our solutions are aligned with the real needs of the market.

2. What was CLR looking for with its presence at this fair?

We wanted to reinforce our presence in the industrial ecosystem, to show for the first time the new range of reducers and, above all, to listen to the market.

3. What was the reception of the line of IGS and planetary gearboxes?

Very positive. What visitors valued most was its compactness and versatility for different sectors. In addition, as manufacturers we can adapt each solution to the customer's needs, offering real customization, without depending on third parties or compromising quality.

4. What type of industrial applications are you focusing on?

This new line of reducers focuses mainly on machine manufacturing, automation and intralogistics.

5. What industrial trends did you see most present at the fair?

Total automation, process sensing, predictive maintenance and, of course, energy efficiency.

We were struck by the fact that many companies are no longer just looking to automate, but to optimize based on data. And here drive systems play a key role, because they are the physical basis on which this efficiency is built.

6. How does CLR fit into this new paradigm?

We have been working on customized solutions for years that improve equipment performance, so we are very aligned. Nowadays it's not just about selling, but about offering technical added value that optimizes the entire customer process.

7. What challenges do you see today in the actuator and reducer industry?

Customization and fast delivery. Customers want adapted solutions, but without losing competitiveness in time. And this challenge is compounded by volatility in supply chains. Our flexible structure and local production allow us to maintain competitive delivery times without sacrificing custom design.

8. How does CLR respond to that need?

With engineering very close to the customer, our own production and a personalized commercial service that speeds up the purchase. Our proximity to the customer goes beyond commercial contact, we understand their processes, we are involved in their technical challenges and we propose improvements even before the prototyping phase.

9. What feedback did you receive directly at the fair?

A lot of interest in medium-term collaborations. Several manufacturers told us that they highly value our approach to collaborative design and self-manufacturing. These collaborations allow us to be present from the earliest stages of development, providing technical value from the start. That's where CLR makes the difference.

10. What does CLR hope to bring to future editions of Advanced Factories?

We will continue to present innovative solutions and consolidate our position in the industrial drive sector. We want CLR to be increasingly recognized as a strategic innovation partner with a flexible, solid offering focused on the industrial challenges of the future.
