In order to achieve this customized size, at CLR we had to carry out many calculations in order to adjust the characteristics of the actuator to the maximum and, in this way, achieve a small kinematic chain. But at the same time, this small chain had to withstand the specifications set by the customer: this posed an added difficulty.

The development of the small-sized actuator project

Once we analyzed the project that the client was asking for and identifying its challenges and problems, we decided that the best solution was to take as a basis our K2 Series actuator, since it is the smallest series in our catalog of products.

From this model, we made a fully customized design making all necessary modifications, including a new layout of the powertrain. In this way, we achieved adjust the required needs as much as possible by our customer, while maintaining the essence of a small size reducer.
