CLR bets all its chips on the most important and iconic event of vending and horeca: Host Milano 17. For its fortieth edition, to be held between October 20th and 24th, Milan becomes once again the capital of the hospitality industry, bringing together the leading equipment and machinery manufacturers in these sectors, which are key to Compañía Levantina de Reductores.
On this year’s edition, which is expected to have the highest attendance to date, the fair will host some 2,000 exhibitors of over 51 different countries, which will be distributed among 14 halls.
Inside look at the fair
In this new edition, Host once again brings together the most important international purchase managers, who will learn about the latest technological innovations in the sector and the evolution of the market. A privileged space for hotel and vending machinery manufacturers, as well as for manufacturers of equipment and components which are part of their value chain.
In this occasion, the event’s halls are divided into three major areas so that events and conferences are organised per sector, thereby facilitating commercial meetings.
These three major areas are:
- Foodservice equipment, bread, pizza and pasta
- Coffee, tea, bar, coffee machine and vending
- Furniture, technology and tableware
Additionally, total attendance in this edition is expected to increase by 18% in relation to the 2016 fair, and by 37% for foreign exhibitors, which enhances networking opportunities and feedback between international partners and competitors in the sector.
Host Milano novelties
This year’s main attraction will be The Gallery Experience, a new way of understanding the synergy of two distinct worlds which have a common allure: ice cream & pastry on one hand, and coffee on the other. Visitors will be able to enjoy both sectors in a sophisticated and highly visual manner, since aesthetics will be front and centre during the fair.
Another key aspect is the fact that the Smart Catalog -the event’s advanced search engine- has been updated. As an example, in addition to displaying products, the catalogue will let users access a reference map of the halls, providing key data of each exhibitor, as well as details about its technological offering or contact information.
All in all, as actuator and driving solution manufacturers for the vending and horeca sectors, Host Milano is an appointment CLR just cannot miss. Therefore, our team of engineers will stay up-to-date on the happenings of the fair in order to stay at the forefront of our sector and foster the highest quality and optimal performance of our products.
